Free Vaccines for Life Plan

Once a pet (dog or cat, puppy or kitten) is "enrolled" in the Free Vaccines for Life Plan (the Plan), any vaccines included in the Plan (see list below) the enrolled pet receives are free for its lifetime.

  • There is a one time "enrollment" fee of $49.00 per pet.
  • As long as that pet has a Wellness Examination by a Monroe Animal Care Hospital doctor once a year, enrollment will remain current.  
  • For new patients (those pets that have not been in to see our doctor before), they enroll for the $49.00 fee at the time of their first Wellness Examination, so the total to get enrolled is the $49.00 enrollment fee plus the current Wellness Examination fee.
  • For returning patients (those with a Wellness Examination within the past year) the total to sign-up is $49.00. They just need to come in for a Wellness Examination within one year of their last Wellness Examination to stay current in the Plan.

Depending on what you currently pay for vaccines, the age of your pet at enrollment, and its vaccine schedule, the plan will provide substantial savings.

The free vaccines include:

  • Puppy /kitten boosters (DHPP or FVRCP)
  • Annual or tri-annual Rabies
  • Annual DHPP / DHLPP or FVRCP
  • Bordetella (every 6 months)

Special order vaccines or vaccines not mentioned above (those NOT routinely recommended such as Lyme) are NOT included.

Other services and products received or purchased at the time of the vet exam/visit are NOT free and are at an additional cost to the doctor exam fee. These additional costs include services and products such as heartworm tests, fecal examinations, de-worming, flea treatments, heartworm prevention and feline leukemia/aids tests.

A Wellness Exam is required once a year for pets over 4 months of age to keep enrollment current.  For puppies and kittens under 4 months of age we require Puppy/Kitten Exams every 3 weeks. We also recommend a 10 Month Check Up for puppies, and for pets 10 years and over, we will recommend exams every 6 months.
