Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency and urgent care cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

Patient Arrival Policy

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the lobby or exam rooms.

All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.

Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. We request that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the lobby.

Patient Restraint Policy

For the safety of you, your family, and your pets, our trained veterinary assistants will hold your pets during examinations and procedures.

Patient Check-In Policy

We offer check-in appointments for your convenience. These appointments are typically scheduled to be checked in to our hospital between 7 and 9am.  Patients checked in prior to 9am will likely be ready for check out by 2pm. Patients checked in after 9am will likely not be ready for check out until 5pm.

When checking in, please allow time to complete paperwork and to discuss your pet's needs with a veterinary assistant prior to leaving your pet for evaluation by a doctor.  You will be asked to leave a valid contact telephone number so the doctor may contact you if needed for additional information.

For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all check in patients have vaccinations that are up to date. 

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, CareCredit, cash and personal checks^*.

* Valid Driver’s License must be presented with personal checks.
